Invoicing at Autonapul: Convenient card payment

You may have noticed that we have been offering card payments for some time now. Starting from March 1, 2026, card payment will become the main and mandatory payment method for all users without a VAT number (DIC).

Why? Because it’s a simpler and faster way to pay for your reservation.

What is changing and what does it mean for you?

You only need to enter your card details in the Autonapul app (Android / iOS) once. All future payments will then be processed automatically.

How does it work in practice?

1) Pre-authorization 24 hours before your trip

One day before your reservation starts, your bank will block an estimated amount for your trip. The amount is calculated based on the expected reservation length and average mileage, so it may be slightly higher than the final price. This is only a temporary hold, not an actual charge.

2) Final settlement after the trip

After you return the car, the amount will be adjusted according to the actual reservation time and number of kilometers driven. We will charge exactly what the trip cost. If a higher amount was blocked, your bank will automatically release the remaining funds. This usually takes one day, depending on your bank.

3) Email confirmation

After the reservation ends, you will receive two emails:

• confirmation of the charged amount,

• and the full invoice (final statement).

Everything is clear and handled automatically, with no extra administration.

What should you do now?

Open the Autonapul app and add your payment card. It only takes a few minutes, and your future reservations will be paid automatically. Simple and hassle-free.

Corporate customers with a VAT number

If you have a VAT number listed in your profile and are registered as a VAT payer, nothing changes for you. Monthly invoicing remains the same as you are used to. If you would like to pay by card as a company, you can simply add it in the app.
