Updates that make using our shared cars easier

We have some updates for you that will make using our shared cars more pleasant and easier.

Whether it’s better orientation, more convenient payment, or easier parking, we believe these small improvements will save you time and hassle. Let’s take a look.

Improvements inside the cars

• Key fobs with Labels - No more remembering PINs. Now the key fobs include a label with the car’s name and the PIN for the CCS card. This means that when paying at a gas station or contacting the Help line, you just glance at the key to immediately know which car you’re driving or which PIN to use for payment.

• Better orientation in Brno zones - The Veveří and Brno Center zones sometimes overlap, which can be confusing. Therefore, keys for cars in these areas are equipped with a special tag to help you orient yourself and park correctly at the end of your reservation.

• Parking clocks in cars - Parking clocks are now available inside the cars. You’ll especially appreciate them in places with time-limited parking - for example, near shops or in designated parking lots. Parking clocks are useful not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad, where they are commonly used. However, be careful not to leave the car in these spots after your reservation ends.

Updates in the mobile app

You may have noticed some changes in our app (Android / iOS). If not, we recommend updating it to enjoy all the new features.

• Price category at a glance - Choosing a car is now even easier. The price category is displayed directly in the short vehicle description, helping you quickly decide which car is the best value for your trip.

• More intuitive reservation start and end - You no longer need to press and hold the button to start or end your reservation - now you just swipe from right to left, and you’re done.

• Dynamic Setting of Max Mileage for the Calculator - The app includes a cost calculator that gives you a preliminary estimate of your planned reservation price. The maximum number of kilometers you can enter now automatically adjusts to the length of your reservation. The longer you reserve the car, the more kilometers you can enter for a rough price estimate. This gives you a more realistic idea of the total cost. This feature does not affect the actual mileage, which remains unlimited.
