The current structure of the Autonapůl Price List is no longer up-to-date. In the near future we will add new types of cars to our fleet and we want to adapt our Price List to this from 1 November 2022. The updated Price List therefore reflects the current trend in carsharing, new cars, the age of the existing fleet and today's turbulent times.
What will change from November?
In a nutshell:
- We will keep the five basic categories. Now they will be called “Economy”, “Standard”, “Comfort”, “Grand”, and “Electro”. A sixth category, “Tesla”, is being created.
- The original categories Budget and Economy will merge into a new "Economy" category.
- the newly introduced categories are "Standard" and "Tesla"
- “Comfort”, “Grand”, and “Electro Akce” categories remain.
How rates will change:
- The new “Economy” category will be priced between the current Budget and Economy and will be represented by the popular Škoda Fabia Combi, the latest Citigo and the new LPG-powered Dacia Sandero. Fabias, will therefore be slightly cheaper to use than before.
- The new “Standard” category will be priced between Economy and Comfort, with the Škoda Rapid, Renault Megane Combi. It will be gradually supplied with new, Czech-built Hyundai i30 estate cars. The introduction of the new category will result in a lower price for the use of Rapids and Megans.
- In the “Comfort” category, the Škoda Octavia Combi, Scala with automatic transmission and, gradually, also the hybrid Toyota Corolla Combi with automatic transmission will remain. There will be a price increase in this category. We believe it will be more than offset by the higher comfort of the cars, including a higher proportion of automatic transmissions or foreign highway vignettes.
- Hourly rates will increase in the "Grand" and "Electro" categories due to the price of new cars. Mileage rates will also increase slightly due to the rise in petroleum fuel and electricity prices. New Renault Trafic vehicles will be added to the 'Grand' category.
- The Tesla will be operating at full price from November after a four-month trial period.
Why have we decided to change the structure of the Price List and categories?
The car market is changing very quickly, due to emissions limits and problems with parts and new car supply. Car companies are redesigning their product lines due to the demand for SUVs and many products are disappearing without replacement (e.g. Citigo or Fabia Combi), models are shifting between classes and new ones are being created. And still, delivery times of 12 months or more are now commonplace for many brands. Unfortunately, fuel prices are not falling either - quite the opposite - and the rise is still linked to the cost of servicing or insurance.
In the new Autonapůl shared fleet, you will soon be able to see new Renault Trafic (large vans), Hyundai i30 estate cars made in the Czech Republic and also the proven Corolla hybrids from Toyota. These do not charge from a socket, but can generate their own electricity for a short drive.
We had to partially move away from the domestic Škoda brand this year due to generally unfavorable conditions, unreliable deliveries and extremely long delivery times.
Other items in the Price List
The good news is that the prices for additional services have not changed. The Jistota Plus added insurance, which significantly reduces your contribution in the event of claims (to a maximum of CZK 3,000), can still be arranged for CZK 299 per month. We only charge it if you use Autonapůl in a given month.
In Prague, Brno and Ostrava you can have your car delivered with AutoSem! (Bring me a car!) for CZK 299.
There are no changes to the other administrative fees associated with billing.
We believe that these changes will improve the service of Autonapůl and that you will appreciate the oncoming renewal of the Autonapůl shared fleet. The new cars will provide you with increased comfort and worry-free journeys when you need them.
Changes to the fleet are already underway
You may have noticed that there have already been a few changes in your city as part of the autumn car fleet renewal. We're phasing out the oldest cars and will gradually add new ones for next year as they come in from dealer distributors. We will keep you informed.
