The Renault Megane E-Tech electric car with renewable electricity accents.
Description
The Renault Megane E-Tech is best enjoyed in the city or on motorways, but thanks to its fast DC charging, it can also handle longer journeys. As with all electric cars, its range is least affected by cold temperatures or fast, constant motorway driving. With a powerful 220 horsepower engine, it offers great acceleration, elegant shifting behind the wheel, and can haul up to 5 people.
Realistic range: 250 - 400 km | Top speed: 160 km/h
Charging options
- AC up to 22kW (range up to 50km in 20 min of charging)
- DC up to 130kW (from 10% to 80% battery in 35 minutes)
Charging instructions for Renault Megane E-Tech
Charging is easy, the Megane has a charging port located on the right fender and opens by pushing on the cover, similar to the tank on most internal combustion cars. Once the charging port is open, just plug in either the fast charge cable (covered by another plastic cover if you're charging on the road) or plug in the slow charge cable from the trunk (typically when you're backing the car into its designated parking spot). You authorize the charging with a chip in the vehicle.

Equipment
The Megane E-Tech is a compact electric car that offers interesting interior space despite its smaller exterior dimensions. A powerful engine with brisk acceleration and a 60kWh battery ensure a very pleasant electric drive, with the ability to charge quickly from AC and DC standard chargers on the road and in a parking location.
The Megane offers a radio with wireless phone mirroring, USB - C connectors in the armrest, cruise control, parking camera or energy recovery control with paddles under the steering wheel. A charging chip for longer journeys is standard.
